Corporate Services

Samantha McConnell Image

Samantha has overall responsibility for the provision of investment management services for IFG and distribution arrangements with third party investment managers. Samantha is one of the founding Principals of Pensco, a pensions consultancy company to the occupational company pensions scheme market, which was acquired by IFG Group in 2008. 

Prior to founding Pensco, Samantha worked for Fexco as a Consultant and was Director of the International Financial Services Institute in the National College of Ireland, where she was responsible for establishing a range of finance programmes, including a MA in Finance.  Samantha has also held other senior roles with KBC Asset Management and Ulster Bank Investment Managers.

Samantha holds a first class honours degree in commerce from UCD and graduated first in Ireland in the ACCA exams.


Fionán O’Sullivan Image

Fionán has overall responsibility for new business development as well as existing corporate pension clients within IFG.

Previously, Fionán held a number of senior positions in the Irish pension industry and has in excess of 17 years experience.

Fionán holds a BA in European Studies and Insurance from Limerick University and qualified as an Associate of the Charted Insurance Institute (ACII) in January 1998. Fionán is a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (FIIPM).

Bruce has responsibility for maintaining relationships with existing corporate pension clients within IFG.

Before joining IFG, Bruce worked with Coyle Hamilton as a Senior Director and Portfolio Manager and prior to this, Bruce worked for ten years as a consultant with Bain Clarkson, which was later purchased by Coyle Hamilton in 1993.

Bruce is an Associate of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (AIIPM) since 2007.

Joe joined IFG as director with responsibilities for the development of corporate pension services and client relationships. Prior to joining IFG, Joe, was a Director of both Aon Consulting and their pensioneer trustee company, Private Client Trustees Limited. Before this he was Principal of his own consulting business, Finance & Pension Solutions Ltd., which was acquired by Aon in late 2004.

Joe has over 31 years experience in the pensions industry, commencing with Irish Pensions Trust and has also held positions with Friends First and Aviva Life & Pensions (previously known as Hibernian Life & Pensions). Joe is an associate member of both the Life Insurance Association of Ireland (QFA) and the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (FIIPM).

Noel is responsible for overseeing the smooth transition of corporate pension schemes onto the IFG Pension Portal and oversees all major project implementations.

Prior to joining IFG, Noel headed up the client services area in Pensco, a pensions consultancy company to the occupational company pensions scheme market, which was acquired by IFG Group in 2008. 

Prior to joining Pensco, Noel was a partner of a multi-national employee benefits firm where he held responsibility for a significant portfolio of pension clients.
 
Noel holds a Diploma in Applied Project Management from University College Cork and is an Associate of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management.


Private Client

George Quigley Image

George is Managing Director of the IFG Private Clients business and has been involved in the running of this business for over 20 years.

George is a member of the Board of IFG Private Clients as well as the Board of IFG Group (Ireland) Ltd. With over 30 years experience in the Life, Pensions and Investments industry, George joined his brother Victor in his Brokerage and in 1989 this business was successfully acquired by IFG Group plc.


Michael Harty Image

Michael is responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients and was appointed Director of the IFG Private Clients business in 2005.

Michael has 15 years experience in the Life and Pensions business and joined IFG in 2001. Prior to this, Michael spent over 4 years with Ark Life as a Financial Planning Consultant providing personal financial advice to clients of Ireland’s two largest AIB branches.   Michael started his career in a similar role with Bank of Ireland Lifetime, where he spent 3 years covering the branch network in Munster.

Michael has a Bachelors Degree in Technology from the University of Limerick and is a Qualified Financial Adviser.


Sinead Davies Image

Sinead is responsible for the operations and compliance functions within IFG Private Clients and is also a director of the company.

Sinead has over 20 years experience in the Life and Pensions industry and joined IFG in 2003.  Prior to joining IFG, Sinead worked in various roles in the life assurance industry and more recently in Canada Life where she worked in sales as a Broker Consultant for 5 years and subsequently moved into the area of compliance where she spent 8 years working with both the Sales Force and Operations in Head Office.

Having qualified with a Fellowship from the Life Assurance Association in 1996, Sinead subsequently qualified with a Diploma from the Marketing Institute of Ireland, and more recently obtained a Certificate in Compliance from the Institute of Bankers.
 
Sinead is a member of the Compliance Officers Association in Ireland and was appointed a Director of the IFG Private Clients business in 2005.


Stephen McCormack Image

Stephen is responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients.  Stephen was appointed a Director of this business and is also a Director of IFG’s Trustee Services business.

Stephen has over 20 years experience in the Life and Pensions industry and joined IFG in 2007. 

Prior to joining IFG, Stephen worked as Financial Planning Director of Power Lynch & Associates where he was responsible for managing their Life and Pensions portfolio.  He also held roles in Canada Life as Executive Broker Manager and with Norwich Union as a technical specialist in the Life and Pensions areas.

Stephen is a Qualified Financial Adviser and a member of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management.


Veronica McCullagh Morrow  Image

Veronica is responsible for managing a portfolio of private clients and is a member of the Board of IFG Private Clients.

Veronica has over 20 years experience in the Life and Pensions business having previously worked in Norman Jones Insurances & Financial Services Ltd, which was subsequently acquired by IFG Group plc in 1991. Veronica has been working with George and Victor Quigley since and was appointed a Director of the company in 1996.     

Veronica is a Qualified Financial Adviser and a member of the Life Assurance Association of Ireland Ltd. 


Trustee Servcies

Michael Keogh Image

Michael is responsible for Pensions Act Compliance and Technical Services in IFG Corporate Pensions.  In addition he also runs our trustee training programme. 

Michael has over 30 years experience in the corporate pensions industry having previously held roles with PSL Consulting, Friends First and Irish Pensions Trust.

Michael is a Certified Trustee Trainer and a Fellow of the Irish Institute of Pensions Management (FIIPM)


SAS

Joe Moran Image

Joe has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and growth of the Small Self Administered Pension business for IFG.

Having joined IFG in 1998, Joe has held senior compliance and finance roles in this business and was appointed Managing Director in 2007.

Joe also became Director of Foster & Cranfield Limited, a UK Auction House and subsidiary of IFG Group plc, which auctions financial instruments.  Joe continues to direct the strategy of this business.

Prior to joining IFG, Joe worked in Horwath Bastow Charleton where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, later becoming a Fellow Chartered Accountant.

Joe holds an honours degree in Business Studies from the Waterford Institute of Technology.


Richard O’Farrell Image

Richard is responsible for the development of the Self Administered Pension business for IFG.

Richard has worked in IFG for over 6 years, initially as a Financial Accountant within the Finance function and more recently in a business development role within the Mortgages & Pensions divisions.

Prior to joining IFG, Richard worked for KPMG and Commonwealth Bank in Financial Accountancy roles.  Whilst working for KPMG Richard successfully completed the Final Admitting Exam to the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters in Accountancy from UCD and is currently completing his QFA.
