Dublin: IFG Corporate Pensions has launched a new actively managed pension portfolio which it claims has outperformed the average Irish-managed pension by 42% over just five years.
In partnership with research firm Jefferies, which employs 150 investment professionals across the world, IFG has created a pensions solution which it believes can outperform Irish pensions even when management fees are included in the price.
Samantha McConnell, IFG Corporate Pensions chief investments officer said: "We strongly believe there is now a gap in the market for a high-performing active managed option... We examined the performance of the average Irish managed fund over the past five years, and compared it with what would have been achieved by the IFG Active Lifestyling offering. Net of all fees, the Active Lifestyling portfolio outperformed the average Irish manager by 42% over just five years."
