PRSA Production Application Process

April 2009

The Pensions Board introduced a newly streamlined application process with regard to the approval of PRSA products for new PRSA providers and the approval of additional products for existing providers.

Existing PRSA providers who wish to apply to the Board for approval of additional products should now complete a new form, Application for Additional Product Approval under Section 94 of the Pensions Act (1990), as amended.  They are required to submit this form and relevant documentation requested in hard copy format to the Pensions Board.

For new PRSA providers who wish to apply to the Board for approval of new products, the Pensions Board will continue the process of holding meetings with the specific providers before forwarding the necessary application form for completion.
